LEAGUE RULES
Welcome to Kowboy Kings, where the spirit of competitive poker thrives! We abide by the respected Tournament Directors Association (TDA) rules to ensure fair play and professional standards in all our games. Remember, while every chip's a chance and every bet's a statement, the most important rule of the house is clear: the final decision on any dispute rests firmly in the hands of our tournament director. So, ante up with confidence and respect for the game, as our director guides us through the turns and rivers of play.
Format: Freezeout tournament

Buy-in: No public event will ever have a buy-in, but understand that the games are free to the players but not the bar. Support the bar.

First 3 levels are 20 mins, 15 mins after break

Registration will stay open till the end of break

The point system will award points to players based on their ranking within the top 50% of players for that night. ​

Comprehensive Rules

TDA Rules: Kowboy Kings Poker follows the Tournament Directors Association (TDA) rules with strict adherence to ensure fairness and integrity in all games. (see below)

Zero Tolerance for Gambling: Absolutely no form of gambling is permitted within the league. This includes, but is not limited to, side bets, wagers on outcomes, or any betting activities beyond the scope of our free-to-play format. Our league is dedicated to enjoying the game of poker without the financial risks associated with gambling.

Dispute Resolution: Disputes will be resolved swiftly and fairly by the league director or a designated representative. Their decisions are final and made with the best interests of the league and its participants in mind.

Enforcement of Good Sportsmanship: We expect all participants to demonstrate exemplary sportsmanship. Disruptive behavior, cheating, or any form of dishonest play will lead to disciplinary action, including potential suspension or permanent ban for severe violations.

Conduct and Etiquette

Respect for Venues and Individuals: Respect for the venue and all individuals present (players, staff, and patrons) is mandatory. Behavior that damages property, offends others, or disrupts the event is unacceptable.

Gameplay Integrity: Players must follow all game rules and league-specific guidelines faithfully. Actions designed to gain an unfair advantage, such as collusion or cheating, will not be tolerated.

No Communication During Active Hands: Players must refrain from discussing or commenting on hands in play if not directly involved. This ensures the integrity of the game is maintained.

Respectful Interaction: All interactions within the league should be conducted with respect and courtesy. This includes language used and physical behavior. We are committed to maintaining a league where everyone feels welcome and safe.

Prompt Play: Players are expected to maintain a reasonable pace of play to ensure events run smoothly and enjoyably for everyone.

Observance of Floor Rulings: Decisions made by the floor manager or designated officials in disputes are final. Respect for these decisions is essential for the orderly conduct of our events.

Immediate Action on Violence or Threats: Any acts of violence or threats thereof will result in immediate and indefinite suspension from the league. The safety of our community is our highest priority.

Proactive Measures Against Disrespectful Language: Disrespectful or derogatory language, including any form of harassment, will not be tolerated. Participants engaging in such behavior will face disciplinary actions, including suspension.

Educational Efforts: We will undertake efforts to educate our community on the importance of respect, inclusivity, and the harmful impacts of gambling within the context of our events.
